Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, has achieved 20 per cent growth in new car deliveries across the region in 2022.

In calendar year 2022, 8,217 new vehicles were delivered by Porsche Centres across the region, which spans 19 markets across the Middle East, Africa and India.

“This strong sales result reinforces our plan for sustainable growth across the region,” said Dr. Manfred Bräunl, Chief Executive Officer at Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE.

“The continued development of our network of over 50 Porsche Centres, and our efforts regarding brand communications and customer satisfaction, are paying dividends. We are committed to continue this work in 2023.”

The Indian market continues to be a highlight for Porsche in terms of strategic growth. As a result of efforts in the areas of brand building and network development, deliveries in India rose 64% in 2022, from 474 new vehicle deliveries in 2021 to 779 last year.

As well as sales success, Porsche Middle East and Africa had many highlights in 2022.

Over 15,000 fans attended the two-day Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai, where the regional premieres of the 911 Dakar, 911 GT3 RS and 911 Sport Classic were held. The event was attended by Porsche AG board members including Oliver Blume, Lutz Meschke, Detlev von Platen and Supervisory Board chairman Wolfgang Porsche.

The 2023 edition of Icons of Porsche is planned for 18-19 November 2023 and will celebrate two key anniversaries; 75 years of Porsche sportscars, and 60 years of the iconic Porsche 911.

Other key plans include the opening of new Porsche Centres, enhanced customer experience programs such as dedicated trips to the Porsche Ice Experience in Finland, and enormous global reach and engagement for various campaigns. These included the ‘Drive2Extremes’ Taycan Cross Turismo campaign, as well as the ‘Camp Cayenne’ concept that celebrated 20 years of Porsche’s first performance SUV.
