Porsche seems to be turning its attention on its sports saloon and estate with the new Panamera GTS and Panamera GTS Sports Tourismo.

Under the hood, both the models carry the 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine that now calls for extra grunt, clocking the power at 453bhp along with 620Nm of torque, a rise of 20bhp from the standard Panamera.

The Panamera which was earlier offered with a GTS trim level will now have new additions after Porsche, for the first time has introduced the version in a Sports Tourismo set-up. The new variant would find a sweet spot between the S and Turbo models.

The GTS models now come with reworked chassis with a 10mm lower ride height and a recalibrated version of the PASM active suspension system.

The engine is mated to an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic that supplies the juice to all the four wheels. The GTS badge on the new model also calls for some new looks at both of them gets a Sports Design package as standard.

This includes a number of black-trim elements, especially around the front end. Apart from that, the new package also includes a 20-inch Panamera Design wheels, meanwhile, the cockpit gets a subtle mixture of Alcantara and anodised aluminium.

Additionally, the car is also equipped with a multi-function steering wheel with gearshift paddles along with optional features such as Interior GTS package which would allow the buyers to customize cabin elements such as rev counter, stitching as well as logos.
