2021 Opel Astra Review | Could This Be Your Next Hatchback?

The Opel Astra 2021 is a highly improved hatchback and competes with Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf, Renault Megane, Seat Leon and Hyundai i30.  The Opel Astra is also known and sold as Vauxhall Astra in Europe. The particular model I reviewed was an Opel Astra Elegance plus. This is currently the only model available in the UAE.

The 2021 Opel Astra comes with a 1.4L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 140 bhp and 200 N-m of torque. While this tiny engine returns a fuel economy of up to 14 kmpl. It comes with 6-speed automatic gearbox and a front-wheel-drive (FWD) system.

The new Astra comes with Alcantara seats, a sporty alloy pedal set and an 8-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system. The Opel Astra 2021 also has a 5-star Euro NCAP safety approved.
