Let’s face it, a lot of us, at some point, have wished for services that would deliver fuel to our cars and save us from the mundane petrol station visits and long ques. Well, a Dubai based app called Cafu might have just heard your voice.

Cafu was a pre-existent app for the residents of Dubai. However, its latest update lets anyone who is in the need of emergency fuel. While we are not aware of the number of people that are often left stranded because they did not pay attention to their fuel gauge, Cafu must have a sound reason for coming up with the app.

The service delivers Super 98 and Special 95 fuel right to one’s fuel filler cap. As far as convenience is concerned, we think that this might be a great way to please road users in Dubai which has reportedly faced a shortage of fuel stations recently. Although we are not very sure how many of them would use it at times of distress.

“Our objective is to always charge you the same amount you’d pay at any of the petrol stations for regular and premium petrol, along with a small delivery fee,” Cafu said. Customers will be charged Dh18 (£4) for each delivery.

Cafu also offers CAFU+, a monthly subscription model which allows one to order petrol for one car multiple times for AED 45.

One can also register a car per subscription and create a delivery schedule at your convenience. A total of AED 45 every month till the user cancels the subscription.

Cafu comes with a unique “Pause” feature which allows one to hold all orders till resuming regular service in case if someone was travelling. However, if the account is “Paused” and up for renewal, the account will not be renewed that would later lead to the cancellation of CAFU+ subscription.
