The Toyota Rush debuted earlier this year and instantly hit it off in the UAE, with dozens of these family cars visible on the roads. The popular vehicle has been substantially updated for 2019 model year.

The 2019 Toyota Rush comes in a seven-seater configuration. It gets a longer list of standard features than before. The GX trim gets front fog lamps, smoke-finish radiator grille, automatic folding door mirrors, smart entry, and a rearview camera to ease parking hassles.

Inside, the Rush GX gets a new full-colour infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. An upgraded sound system with eight speakers completes the interior entertainment package. The premium appeal of the Rush is further accentuated by leather inserts on the steering wheel and gear shifter, steering mounted controls for audio and telephone controls, and high-quality fabric seats. Automatically folding mirrors are also standard across trims.

Powering the 2019 Toyota Rush GX is a frugal 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol motor that makes 103 horses and 135Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic gearbox.

Prices start at AED 68,500 for the base EX trim and AED 73,000 for the fresh, top-end GX trim. With the new, more loaded-up variant offer, Toyota only needs to bring in the TRD Sportivo trim of this crossover to the UAE market.
