Audi Middle East marks the beginning of 2023 with great results and significant milestones, celebrating a successful start to the year. The bids farewell to its current Managing Director, Carsten Bender, as he moves on to a new role within the company in Germany, leaving behind a truly inspiring legacy. Audi Middle East looks ahead to a bright future, filled with promising opportunities for the remainder of 2023.
Audi Middle East has recorded a remarkable 33 per cent growth in the starting five months of 2023, as compared to the previous year. This makes it the best start to a year since 2015. The brand has achieved impressive growth in sedan and SUV models, with a notable 40 per cent increase in demand for Audi Approved Plus vehicles.
Since the debut of the Audi e-tron range in 2018, the German carmaker has been actively expanding its portfolio of electric vehicles. Audi's EV line-up now features a range of models from sports cars, sedans, and hatchbacks, to capable SUVs.
The Audi e-tron GT has shown consistent growth since its launch, with an increased 24 per cent sales as compared to 2022. The brand's strategic partnerships and investments in electric vehicle infrastructure throughout the region are also one of the reasons for such growth. Earlier this year, the Audi Q8 e-tron also joined the brand's EV line-up.
While the brand's performance line-up and Audi Sport's exclusive editions are also performing exceptionally well. Audi's focus on sustainability, digitalization, and electrification is set to drive future growth as regional customers seek eco-friendly luxury vehicles.

It has been an honour to be part of this formative period, especially with the launch of the first e-tron in 2018 and witnessing the incredible momentum towards electrification. I am confident in the bright future ahead. I’d like to extend my gratitude to my friends, colleagues and partners here, who have been so instrumental in further developing the Audi brand at the forefront of our industry.”
