The Nismo brand is the in-house performance section of Nissan which focuses on giving more powerful and driving focussed cars. Cars like Nissan GTR Nismo, Nissan 370Z Nismo and Patrol Nismo are part of models coming out from their portfolio. What makes the Patrol Nismo 2021 special is the fact that it is exclusively produced and available for only the Middle East markets.

The 2021 Nissan Patrol Nismo is powered by a hand-built and Takumi tuned 5.6-litre, V8 engine, which enables it to produce 428HP, 28 higher than the standard Patrol V8. It also manages to produce 560Nm of torque which is coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission. It comes with a very capable four wheel drive (4WD). While there are no special driving modes it does come with different terrain setups. The suspensions have been upgraded to Bilstein performance suspension.

On the interior of the new Patrol Nismo 2022, you will find carbon fibre, red Alcantara and leather, all combined to give you a plush looking interior. The interior does feel a little aged now with the use of a 7-inch & an 8-inch high definition display screen, while there is a 7-inch TFT driver’s display. You will get a 13 speaker Bose sound system and a smart rear view monitor.

The 2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo is an absurd full-sized SUV but it is special in its own sense. In the US, it is sold under the name Nissan Armada.
