MG Motor Signed New Agreement With Jameel Motors For Distribution Of Its Cars In Morocco
MG Motor enters new market of Morocco, aims to build the brand reputation and gain customer trust
After performing extremely well and breaking records across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Region, MG motor is all set to enter the new market of Morocco in March 2023. MG Motor recently announced a partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel, a highly respected, privately owned, and globally diversified business. Tom Lee, Managing Director of MG Motor in the Middle East, has signed a distribution agreement with Fady Jameel, Deputy President and Vice Chairman, Abdul Latif Jameel, under the new brand ‘Jameel Motors’ to enhance its operations in Morocco.
Following this announcement, Morocco becomes the brand’s 10th regional market for the manufacturer. The new MG Motor will work towards building the brand reputation, customer perception and gain customer’s trust by providing the high-quality products and services to the Moroccan buyers.

Jameel Motors aims to offer a range of comprehensive benefits for customers of the revitalized MG brand as a part of its all-inclusive, customer-centric business model, Jameel Motors will be the official distributor of MG and will manage the new car sales, aftersales servicing and certified pre-owned sales.
The new agreement now enables Moroccan car buyers to access top of the line products and services from MG’s portfolio including a dedicated team of MG sales and aftersales specialists. MG will offer one of the best-in-region manufacturer warranties of six years or 200,000 Km for their cars.
MGs Line-up in Morocco
Considering Morocco’s transition towards environment friendly vehicles, MG’s future product strategy is to start with a line-up of electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, giving customers the option to choose from models such as the MG ZS EV, the MG 4 Full Electric and the MG HS PHEV.
Internal combustion engine (ICE) models such as the MG ZS and MG HS SUVs, as well as the MG 5 and MG 3 sedans, will also be available for customers from March 2023, in the first showroom in Casablanca.
