Jaguar’s New Gift Collection Celebrates The 60th Anniversary Of The E-Type
The Jaguar E-Type is truly an automotive icon. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Jaguar and in order to celebrate the occasion, the British carmaker has released the E-type 60th Anniversary Collection.
The collection includes a sketch, a framed artwork, a t-shirt and a diecast car. The sketch artwork tells the story of the car’s reveal at the 1861 Geneva Motor Show in pop-art style. Only 600 artworks will be made.
These items are pretty rare as 960 t-shirts and 400 1:18 scale diecast model cars will be made. The model car is available in three colours – British Racing Green, Opalescent Dark Blue and Opalescent Gunmetal. It is a perfect depiction of the ‘9600 HP’ car – the E-Type driven from Coventry to Switzerland before its launch.
Also, there is a pair of framed artworks available. Titled ‘From Coventry to Geneva, only 60 pairs will be made.
All these items come from the Jaguar Design Studio and were made under the supervision of Jaguar Design Director Julian Thomson. “This 60th Anniversary Collection is the perfect way to celebrate that history, with a range including some brilliant creations from the Jaguar Design team of today”, said Joe Sinclair, Jaguar Land Rover Branded Goods and Licensing Director.
