I know what you are thinking, ‘not another’ special edition of the F-Type. Well let us explain because this isn’t a ‘special’ F-Type. Jaguar has revealed the R-Dynamic Black trim level which gives the F-Type some visual touches making it different from the standard cars.

With the R-Dynamic Black trim level three new colours are available: Santorini Black, Eiger Grey or Firenze Red. You also get 20-inch split five-spoke wheels finished in Gloss Black with the R-Dynamic Black pack.

Most of the changes can be seen inside where Jaguar has added 12-way electrically adjustable sports seats, Windsor leather with Ebony or Light Oyster or Flame Red stitching available.

The R-Dynamic Black is available with the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and the meaty 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine. In the V8 F-Types, this new trim level will add adaptive dampers.

Julian Thomson, Jaguar’s Design Director, said: “Creating the new F-TYPE R-Dynamic Black models gave us the opportunity to subtly enhance the way the car looks – inside and out – and at the same time amplify both the luxury and sporting elements of its character.”

“The result is an even more purposeful, focused, distinctive design with real presence, whether you choose the Coupé or Convertible, the four-cylinder or the V8,” he further added.
