Chevrolet Bolt EV Collaborates With Ripe Market For New Season
Dubai’s popular Ripe Market is back for a whole new season at a brand new location. Chevrolet is joining the fun with the Bolt EV, its first electric vehicle for the Middle East and Africa.
Ripe Market is just in time for the onset of the colder winter months in the UAE, kicking off its outdoor season on 23 November at its new permanent location in the Dubai Police Academy Park (Umm Suqeim), in collaboration with the Dubai Police.
Timings for the Ripe Market are every Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm, wherein a lot of activities are planned. Aside from the farmers’ market, other attractions include a food truck, arts and crafts, sports, music, and petting zoo attractions. Visitors to the Ripe Market will also get the chance to take a closer look at the Chevrolet Bolt EV, the company’s first-ever electric vehicle offering in the Middle East and Africa.
Market-goers have the opportunity to test drive the 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV for themselves. The American manufacturer claims a maximum of 520km of NEDC-certified (New European Driving Cycle) driving range for the Bolt EV. This is a great chance for the people to get a feel of the EV for themselves. Customers who want to switch over to electric cars but have hitherto held back over range anxiety of EVs can now make an informed decision after driving the Bolt around.
Visitors to the Ripe Market will be walking away with a few surprises from Chevrolet, which will put up the Bolt EV for test drives and display through all of the editions of the event. The calendar for the Ripe Market season is as follows:
