BMW M3, M4, And M5 CS Set To Be The MotoGP Safety Cars
BMW has announced that the M3, M4 and M5 CS will be the safety cars for the Moto GP season.
The M5 CS is finished in Frozen Deep Green Metallic paint, M3 Competition Sedan wears Frozen Grey Dark Metallic paint while the M4 Competition Coupe features vibrant São Paulo Yellow colour. All the three cars also sport a cool livery.
Only minor changes have been made to the cars because we are told that they were already boasting “sporty performance and perfect driving behaviour up to the limits.”
That’s not all – BMW Motorrad’s first M product, the 1000 RR, will serve the duty of being the safety bike. The bike doesn’t have any fancy paint or livery and sports the standard M colours.
While the 2021 MotoGP season starts from March 28, these four cars and bike will make their appearance starting from the championship’s first European race of the season – the Grande Prémio de Portugal taking place on April 18 at Portimão.
