Al Tayer Motors has introduced the all-new 2019 Lincoln Nautilus in the UAE. Built on parent company Ford's global CD4 platform, the 2019 Nautilus is the spiritual replacement for the MKX nameplate. Just as the MKX before it, the Nautilus also occupies the premium mid-size luxury crossover segment - an extremely popular one in the UAE. The Lincoln will likely compete for top spot against the likes of the Audi Q5, Lexus RX, and Infiniti QX70.
Al Tayer Motors has the Lincoln Nautilus available in three different trim levels: there's the Nautilus Base starting at AED 199,395 and mid-option Select that starts from AED 225,645, and the fully-loaded Reserve which wears a sticker price of AED 262,395. To improve upon their customer service, Al Tayer Motors is also offering buyers of new Lincoln cars (such as the new 2019 Nautilus) with a special VIP service called 'Lincoln to You'. Using this handy service, customers can simply book test drives on the date and time of their liking, via a website or by simply calling '800 MOTORS'. The dealership will then arrange for the car to be delivered to the customer's location, with a service advisor in tow to assist the customer further.
All variants of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus sold in the UAE are equipped with an all-wheel-drive system, turbocharged (EcoBoost) engines with auto stop-start technology and an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The entry-level and mid-tier variants of the new Nautilus are exclusively powered by a direct-injection, 2.0-litre four-popper that makes 250 hp at 5,500 rpm and 380 Nm of maximum torque at 3,000 rpm. Meanwhile, the range-topping Reserve model comes with a 2.7-litre six-cylinder engine that develops 335 hp at 5,500 rpm and 515 Nm of shove at 3,250 revs. As for its straight-line performance, the 2019 Nautilus with the smaller motor achieves the tonne-mark in around 7 seconds, whilst the 335-horsepower variant can do the same in just over 6 seconds.
The 2019 Nautilus with the two-litre motor and all-wheel drive manages to return around 10.4 L/100 km, while the V6-powered model can average about 12.0 L/100 km. As for size, it measures 4.827 metres in length, 2.000 metres in width and 1.681 metres in height, and the wheelbase of this five-seater stretches to 2.849 metres, while boot space behind the second row is 1,055 litres. Lincoln has also rammed their new luxury crossover with tonnes of creature comforts, including 20-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, adaptive dampers, power tailgate, radar-guided cruise control, leather upholstery, power-operated front seats with heating, cooling with massaging, wireless charger, panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, electronic handbrake, active noise cancellation, Revel premium sound system with 19 speakers, touch-infotainment head unit with navigation, 12.3-inch digital driver's display and many more.
