2021 Opel Crossland X Review | Small Family SUV With Chunky Looks

The Crossland X was introduced in 2017 as a competitor in the already crowded compact family SUV segment. The bits that I like the most about this car are the looks and the engine. Though it is a baby SUV it still manages to be family-friendly and practical with lots of space in the boot and for the passengers inside the car.

The Opel Crossland X 2021 comes with a 1.2L, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110 bhp and 205 Nm of torque at just 1500 rpm. Which makes this tiny little engine super responsive. While this engine has been mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox and comes with a front-wheel-drive (FWD) as standard.
The infotainment system is an 8-inch touchscreen that is basic and easy to use. The material quality may feel a little cheap at a few places with slightly dodgy panels at some places. The rear seats do fit two people easily but the rear door opening seems to be smaller than usual.
The Opel Crossland 2021 replaced the Opel Mokka X. The Opel Crossland X is also sold as Vauxhall Crossland X in Europe and the United Kingdom (UK). The Crossland X competes directly with the Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur.
