2021 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door 80th Anniversary Review | All-Purpose 4×4

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is launched to honour the 80th anniversary of the Jeep Wrangler which was born during World War II. It still remains the most recognised on and off-road SUVs in the world. On the 80th anniversary, there are lots of updates with the major one being the colour options. The one I tested was in the sarge green which looked absolutely phenomenal on the Wrangler.

The Jeep Wrangler 2021 is powered by a 3.6-Litre Pentastar V6 engine that produces 285 bhp and 352 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox which sends power through its clever four-wheel drive (4WD) system. A key part of that heritage is the Wrangler’s consistent use of solid axles. Today’s Jeep Wrangler boasts standard Dana 44 front and rear axles – a design that dates back to the 1940s that’s still in wide use today, particularly in vehicles that are intended for heavy-duty off-road use. The 2021 Wrangler is also trailed rated 4×4 meaning that it has gone through some rigorous tests to make it trail-ready and can do off-road comfortably.

On the inside, the Wrangler comes with leather seats, adaptive cruise control, Alpine sound system, 8.4-inch Uconnect 4 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The approximate price (not from the Jeep center) is AED 155,000.
