Hyundai Launches 2019 Santa Fe In UAE

Hyundai on Sunday launched the fourth generation of one of its most sought after SUV, Santa Fe in the UAE. The company claims that the SUV is based on its new ‘design language’ with Composite Light and Cascading Grille.

Hyundai’s new Composite Lights that can now be seen on all its SUV models, sports a design that comprises of a slim LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) positioned on top of the LED headlights and the signature cascading grille.

The new Santa Fe comes with refined and ergonomic interior architecture. In the new model, the company has placed the floating type touchscreen higher citing for better visibility. The SUV comes with a standard 5-inch TFT audio system as well as an optional 7-inch display audio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A full head-up display in the new Santa Fe projects essential driving information such as speed, navigation commands and fuel level, as well as alerts from active safety and driving assistance features on the windshield.

The driver and front passenger seat come with extendable seat cushions, offering ten different positions. Legroom and height have been increased in the second row to 38mm and 18mm respectively, while the headroom in the third row has been increased by 22mm.

The 2019 model is provided with three engine variants including a 2.2-litre e-VGT diesel engine producing 197 hp of power and 441 Nm of torque, a Theta II 2.4-litre petrol engine putting out 169 hp of power and 225 Nm of torque and a Lambda II 3.5-litre petrol engine petrol engine that will produce 276 hp of power and 336 Nm of Torque. .

Hyundai has widened its palette of safety features in the new Santa Fe including a Rear Occupant Alert, Safety Exit Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision- Avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assists as well as Blind Spot Collision Warning.
