2018 Audi Q3 Spied Testing

We’ve recently reported about Mercedes-Benz testing its next-gen A-Class sedan and BMW busy with its new X1 in the snow. Now, it’s the Audi who has been keeping its test drivers busy. A few spy shots of the next-gen or 2018 Audi Q3 have been surfaced.

Just like any other test mule, this one too is heavily disguised. We are expecting to see a new pair of headlights, which is going to be sharper to provide an aggressive and modern look to the car. Helping them to achieve so, is the wider front grille, redesigned air intakes and bumper. The tail lights too would be sharper.

It is being anticipated that the 2018 Audi Q3 is going to be larger in dimensions compared to the outgoing model. The wheelbase of the new car could grow by 50mm whereas the length and width of the car could increase by 60mm and 30mm respectively. All this means that there would be more space inside the new Q3.

As for the engine options, Audi would provide different trims to pick from. It’s being said that the capacity of the engines would range from 1.4-litre to 2.0-litre. The available transmissions would be a 6-speed manual and/or a 7-speed S-tronic. We also think that the Quattro (AWD) system would be available as an option.

Aud is aiming to launch the next-gen Q3 somewhere in the mid of 2018. No exact details have been given out yet. Once it gets launched, perhaps, we would also get to see an RS variant later. Check this space for future updates.
